Build Wise Relationships
By: Pastor Roy Carryl

The Bible gives us many great examples of friendship.

God called Abraham His friend.

Aaron and Hur stood by Moses’ side, supporting his hands to ensure Israel’s victory in battle against her enemies.
(Exodus 17:12)

David and Jonathan established a powerful friendship against all odds.

These friendships were more than casual acquaintances. However, in the midst of difficulty or hardship, these friends offer great support and strength to each other.

Take time out to be very careful as you choose your friends because they impact your life in many ways. They bring enjoyment, delight, and pleasure. Friends can help us draw closer to God, get through difficult times, and overcome obstacle. They can also motivate us, distress us, or even destroy us.

If we build relationships (friendships) based on a need we have, it will not last. But build relationships based on mutual understanding.

Remember the greatest and wisest relationship we can build is with Jesus.

Here is what God say:
- He will not abandon us.(Hebrews 13:5)
- He will give us peace. (John 14:27)
- He will give us abundant life (John10:10)

Take time today to build wise relationship.
